Meals on Wheels is a nation-wide association that provides nutritious meals to senior citizens. The local Meals on Wheels branch at 40 Severance Circle is a delivery meal location where volunteers and some paid staff help deliver meals to the homes of seniors in need.
The City of Westlake has a new facility located on Hilliard Boulevard near Dover Center Road. Its state-of-the-art facility includes a conference room to house up to 100 residents for monthly meetings on pertinent city-wide events. Dennis Clough is the mayor. His office is located in this building with appointment hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This branch of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles attends to license renewals, vehicle registration including boats and issuing plates. Drivers can order personalized plates at this location, which also serves as a title service.
This location does not have testing capabilities and does not manage reinstatement for suspended licenses. Watercraft registration is available Feb. 1 through Oct. 31.
Formerly at the Drug Mart Plaza, the Bureau relocated to its current location at Belden Place on Avon Belden Road and is to the rear of Fenik's Ice Cream.

The dispatch center, led by lieutenant Cynthia Baker, runs dispatch for the sheriff's office, Kirtland Hills Police Department, Timberlake Police Department, and every county police department east of Mentor except for Madison Township.
