Located on the first floor of Town Hall, the Finance Department is responsible for managing all town spending and billing, as well as tax assessment and collection. The department is where residents can go to pay bills for town services, taxes and a variety of other fees.
The director of the Finance Department also serves as the town's treasurer and tax collector. The position is currently held by Stephen Cirillo.
Whether you are from Newton or just a nearby resident, the Newton Senior Center offers a full calendar of programs for people over the age of 50. The Main Branch also features a large history and genealogy collection with more than 1,200 items relating to Mayflower descendants as well as later waves of immigrants. The grounds of Brookline's Town Hall on Washington Street feature several monuments, including several memorials to Brookline soldiers lost in war, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Plymouth branch of the Registry of Motor Vehicles handles all license, registration and title transactions as well as license plate returns, suspension payments, learner's permit testing and road tests. In addition, it administers written tests for Class A, B, C, D and M licenses.

The City of Boston Collecting Division collects property and excise taxes or fees and deposits monies into the Treasury. Additionally, the department issues liens, prepares foreclosure documents and reports and analyses fiscal issues effecting the community.
The Department of Human Services is located in the Lexington Senior Center, at 1475 Massachusetts Ave. The department offers youth, family and senior services, including meals-on-wheels and transportation programs. The town's veteran's agent is also on-site.
Plymouth County Farm is a farm that has been run by the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department since 1910. The farm currently houses the Sheriff's Department's mounted unit and also features cattle and miniature horses. The site hosts horticultural programs and family-friendly events.
