Established in 1985, the Artemis Center For Alternatives To Domestic Violence provides early intervention, supportive services and education for the victims of domestic violence and their children. In partnership with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, the center provides legal services to victims of civil domestic violence and handles matters related to temporary protection orders and related relief. It offers information to victims about civil and criminal matters, as well as court escort services.
