The Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce & Visitors' Bureau offers a variety of services for business owners, visitors, and residents in Half Moon Bay and its surrounding coastside communities. The Chamber includes nearly 700 business members. In exchange for an annual membership fee (which varies based on the type of business and the size), members receive benefits such as direct referrals to the public, a listing in the Chamber's online directory, opportunities to attend seminars and workshops on good business practices, networking opportunities, and help with starting a new business.

Chamber President Charise McHugh is also a champion of ecotourism, and has lead the Chamber's efforts to develop a program along the San Mateo County Coastside.
