Established in 1904, the Association of Washington Business lobbies for public policy that encourages economic growth, boosts productivity and creates jobs. The association has a membership consisting of large and small, urban and rural businesses from all parts of the state of Washington. AWB is one of the oldest and most influential business organizations in the state and serves as Washington s chamber of commerce. AWB s products and services include human resource products and services, employee benefits and health insurance, business services and insurance, environmental compliance, workers compensation and workplace safety, legislative reception, policy summit, healthcare forums, environmental excellence awards, community service awards and better-workplace awards. The association also publishes the Washington Business Magazine. AWB is headquartered in Olympia, Wash.
