Known until 2002 as Grace Baptist Church, Grace Church of Napa Valley traces its history to the mid-1950s, when a group of families began holding bible meetings in their Napa Valley homes. In its early years, the growing congregation met at several borrowed locations before purchasing a north Napa Valley orchard and building a church of its own, which opened in 1971. In 2001, Grace Academy opened its doors behind the church sanctuary. The Christian school serves kindergartners through eighth-graders.
Capital Baptist Church is a church whose congregation culturally mixed; it is driven to serve the surrounding community. Its mission and belief is to teach and prepare Christians in God's Word.
