Since 1968, The Actors Studio West has been located in the William S. Hart house in the park named after the famous actor. Lee Strasberg would spend half of each year here and the other half teaching at the Actors Studio in New York. Since his passing, many famous actors have taken part in teaching at the world famous Actors Workshop. Martin Landau and Mark Rydell are currently the joint directors of this facility.
The Hart house and a separate small theatre are used for classes, auditions and small productions. Many productions have been staged in the West Hollywood area, all free to the public. Once you are accepted into the Actors Studio you are a member for life. Auditions are held twice a year. For more information, please refer to the Studio's website.
Greystone Manor Supperclub is a night club that provides dining, music and dancing with a high-end atmosphere for customers in the Hollywood area. The club's decor evokes the atmosphere of a private estate, and table service guests are greeted by a personal butler who collects their coats and takes drink/food orders. The sound system at Greystone Manor Supperclub is state-of-the-art, and the LED lighting system adds to the neo-Renaissance atmosphere; the club also features a number of performers and aerialists who perform vignettes during the night.
