Barclay College is a private Christian college. It is an interdenominational school founded by the Friends Church. The college offers bachelor s degree in youth ministry, pastoral ministry, music ministry, bible and theology, missions, psychology and family counseling, missions such as bivocational, Christian school elementary education, and business administration. Evangelist and teacher Scott T. Clark formed Barclay College in 1917. In 1925 a two year junior college course was added. It received accreditation by the American Association of Bible Colleges in 1975. Located in Haviland, Kan., the college organizes biannual christmas pageant, sports events, choir concerts and preview weekends. On campus employment is available in maintenance, secretarial, clerical, custodial, food service areas whereas off campus employment is available in construction, farm work and child care.
