Founded in 1900, the American Booksellers Association is a nonprofit organization that meets the needs of its core members of independently owned bookstores with retail storefront locations through advocacy, education, research and information dissemination. The ABA, headquartered in Tarrytown, N.Y., supports free speech, literacy and programs that encourage reading. The association also hosts the annual ABA Convention in conjunction with BookExpo America. Additionally, it is the sponsor of Book Sense: Independent Bookstores for Independent Minds, the national integrated marketing campaign. Located in White Plains, N.Y., the United States Tennis Association, also known as USTA, is the national governing body for the sport of tennis. It promotes and develops the sport s growth on every level in the United States, ranging from local communities to the US Open championship. Established in 1881, USTA is one of the largest nonprofit tennis organizations in the world. The organization has more than 665,000 individual members and over 7,000 organizational members. It also has various volunteers and trained staff members. USTA supports a wide range of programs that help individuals learn and play tennis, and benefit from its health, fitness and social benefits. The organization supports tennis players by providing a range of coaching and training facilities to them. It runs all levels of tennis tournaments, ranging from amateur to professional.

Westchester County Association Inc, www.westchester.org is a business-based membership organization committed to addressing public policy issues with respect to business advocacy and economic development on behalf of the regions corporate and not-for-profit organizations. Founded in 1950 by leaders representing a cross-section of major businesses and employers in the county at that time, the original mission of the Association was to provide a strong and clear voice for the interests of businesses in the county. This mission continues through the programs offered by the WCA which are intended to achieve three key objectives: business advocacy & economic development of the region ; business development on both a macro ( industry ) and micro ( member ) basis ; and provide access and interaction with key public and private sector individuals, agencies and organizations. The WCA understands that Westchester needs to operate in a global environment and through its World Trade Council promotes and fosters international trade within Westchester and the lower Hudson Valley. The mission of Westchester County Association is to maintain a position as the center of influence for business advocacy issues on behalf of our membership as well as enhancing the economic vitality of the region. We will be committed to research based policy initiatives and information capabilities that will be the hallmark of our excellence.
