The dock at Douglas Manor has been a popular swimming locale during the summer for decades. The group's membership includes more than 600 homes in Douglas Manor, which was included in the city's landmarking of Douglaston in 1997. The association's office is located along 41st Avenue near the Douglaston Long Island Rail Road Station.
