The Portuguese National Club on Railroad Avenue promotes and encourages educational, social, athletic and civic activities to Stoughton and nearby communities. The foundation is made up of approximately 250 members. The hall on Railroad Avenue is available to rent for gatherings and functions, including wedding receptions, anniversary parties, birthday parties and corporate functions. The bar is fully stocked and there are three large televisions to view events on. There is also a pool table, shuffleboard and foosball table for entertainment. It can also cater your event with a full menu available, including fresh seafood, meat and poultry dishes.
The Knights of Columbus Grand Lodge is the lodging hall of Stoughton's local Council 200 and is located on Seaver Street in downtown Stoughton. The hall has a capacity of 120 people and can host your next function or gathering. The hall has a large dance floor available that can also be converted to a large seating area. There is also a bar and small kitchen for cooking. Popular occasions hosted here include weddings, anniversary parties and fundraisers.
Club Luiz De Camoes is an active Portuguese club with a hall and headquarters located on Porter Street in downtown Stoughton. The club has more than 250 active members and relocated to its current location in the 1970s. The club was named after the famous Portuguese poet Luiz De Camoes. The hall is available for rental and is large enough for a variety of events, including birthday parties, dinner banquets and wedding receptions. There is a fully stocked bar as well as a jukebox, dance floor, stage and two pool tables.
Amvets Post 1977 honors and assist the men and women who defend our country. It conducts outreach programs and provides care to veterans and their families. The local Stoughton chapter works to preserve the legacies of fallen veterans, in addition to supporting current soldiers and their families.
