Carroll Center for the Blind, established in 1936, is a private, nonprofit agency, serving people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. The center provides rehabilitation, skills training and educational opportunities, and educates the public regarding the potential of persons who are blind and visually impaired. It also provides independent living skills, computer training, educational and employment services, low vision rehabilitation, community orientation and mobility training, outdoor enrichment program, and professional development training.
