Salt Lake International Airport SLC is a civilian/military airport serving the Salt Lake City metro area. SLC Airport is situated approximately 6.5 miles to the west of downtown Salt Lake City. Currently, the airport transports about 20 million passengers annually. The airport is the 21st busiest in the United States. The largest airline carriers at SLC are Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.
