Long Bay Aviation,LLC was founded in 2008 in NC. In 2013 it was reorganized by Thomas G Maurer who is now the sole member/manager/owner of Long Bay Aviation,Llc and moved to Gulf Shores Al. Thomas holds a Multi & Single engine land commercial instrument certificate & has been flying since 2008. We wanted to create a inexpensive platform for private air charters in the South East for trips mostly less than 600 miles. If you compare our rates & flight time to other charter flight options you’ll concede we are the most affordable. Plus our Saratoga will get you to & from your destination w/o TSA, terminal delays, concourse changes & with direct routing were able to get you back from your meeting the same day if desired. Using the general aviation ramps you pass thru the terminal w/o TSA to your awaiting aircraft, board & are airborne w/in 10 minutes. Our rate is $550/hr flight time from Gulf Shores to your destinations then returning to Gulf Shores. Stand by rates are $40/hr or $500 overnight.
