Located in Lander, Wyo., National Outdoor Leadership School has been providing wilderness education since 1965. It runs courses from more than 10 schools worldwide and serves more than 75,000 students. The school provides a wide range of courses, including mountaineering, rock climbing, water sports and horsekeeping. Additionally, it offers courses on skiing, snowboarding, backpacking and wilderness medicine. The school offers adult education for individuals of 23 to 69. It also provides outdoor educator courses to its students. The school provides many summer semester courses, including Semester in the Rockies, Teton Valley Semester, Semester in Australia, Semester in Alaska and Semester in the Yukon. National Outdoor Leadership School additionally offers fall semester and spring semester courses.
