The web site was created by Pro Bono.net and is maintained by staff at the Mississippi Legal Services Coalition. Mississippi Legal Services Coalition The Mississippi Legal Services coalition is a cooperative effort of North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, Mississippi Center for Legal Services, and The Mississippi Volunteer Lawyer Project. The Coalitions goals are to provide high quality legal representation and advice to our clients. Additionally, we provide educational and preventative information to assist our citizenry in avoiding problems. Therefore, we are not only providing fish but we are also teaching our clients how to fish. This is accomplished through distributing information through fact sheets, booklets, manuals, public appearances, community education, community outreach and educational programs. Probono.net is a unique collaboration among the various parts of the public interest legal community, organized primarily in New York city. They use information technology to increase the amount and quality of legal services provided to low-income individuals and communities.
