The Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey, incorporated in 1970, is a nonprofit charitable agency that works to prevent, control and cure epilepsy through education, advocacy and research. The agency offers Camp NOVA, which is a summer camp that provides opportunities to participate in several activities, such as karate, acting, boating, fishing, swimming, yoga, and arts and crafts. The Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey serves individuals and their families. The agency s public education campaign, Heads Up For Safety, works to increase community and professional awareness related to preventable head injuries. It provides the Students Hearing About and Recognizing Epilepsy program, which offers learning opportunities for students.
