Since 1960, Emanuel Lutheran Church has been serving the Christian community of Bethesda, Md. The church operates through Christian education, confirmation class, evangelism, music, outreach, parish life and youth/family ministries. Its Christian education ministry provides educational programs for both children and adults. Through the outreach ministry, Emanuel Lutheran Church serves residents, assists staffs and participates in fund raisers at the National Lutheran Home. It also organizes Wednesday morning Bible Encounter as well as the other adult Bible programs.
