Exchange Club CASTLE provides a positive parenting program that is a support group for parents who are interested in learning new parenting skills, positive discipline techniques and ways to improve communication with their children. With a location in Fort Pierce, Fla., the organization conducts several educational workshops and seminars that establish specialized parenting methods in group settings. Established in 1981, it serves as a model for a national network of child abuse prevention centers at more than 100 locations throughout the United States. Exchange Club CASTLE is certified by the Council on Accreditation. The organization provides in-home counseling and educational seminars. It is funded by the United Way and federal, state and local government agencies. Exchange Club CASTLE is sponsored by the Florida Department of Children and Families, Children s Services Advisory Committee of Indian River and United for Families.
