Atlanta Montessori International School ( AMIS ) provides a superior, international standard of education that fosters knowledge about the cultures and peoples of the world in which we live. AMIS is a year-round school serving the needs of children ages 16 months through Elementary level. The school is open Monday through Friday from 7: 30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with core school hours from 8: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. AMIS also offers an innovative summer camp program, open to AMIS students and to children from other Montessori schools. Montessori is a method which appeals to the natural intelligence of the child. AMIS views each individual child as a source of potential, and the aim is to tap that potential to its fullest.
