Yuma County Public Health Service District Division is a department of the city of Arizona. Based in Yuma, Ariz., the department operates through administration, emergency preparedness, environment health, health promotion and nursing divisions. Its emergency preparedness division organizes emergency preparedness programs, earthquake preparedness and medical reserve corps. It also provides several services, such as environmental health services, consumer food safety links, restaurant ratings and vector control. Through nursing division, the department offers communicable disease family planning as well as high-risk child programs.
