Founded in 1958, TEMSCO Helicopters Inc. is an Alaska based helicopter charter company, operating year round from Alaska and San Angelo, Texas. With a fleet of light to medium category helicopters and trained pilots, it caters to various industries, including firefighting, mineral exploration and forestry. Involved in operations including search and rescue missions, hospital transport, firefighting, and aerial survey, among others, the company additionally offers glacier tours in Alaska, providing glacier discovery, dog sled tours and more. TEMSCO Helicopters provides pilots and mechanics for government contracts and is a Bell Helicopter and MD Helicopter Service Center. A member of various associations, including TOPS (Tour Operators Program of Safety) and Alaska Travel Industry Association, to name a few. It is a recipient of 2010 Editor-in-Chief award for Best Alaska Shore Excursion from Porthole Cruise magazine.
