Founded in 1946, Strand Associates is a multidisciplinary engineering firm that serves the needs of public and private clients throughout the United States. The company provides water-quality studies and models, ecological and taxonomical surveys, toxicity studies and evaluations, risk assessment models, wetland delineation and endangered species surveys, along with environmental impact studies to industry and government. Strand is ranked as one of the largest design firms in North America, according to the Engineering News Record. Since its inception, Strand has grown to include 10 offices in states that include Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana and Ohio.
