St. Barnabas Hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient care services. As a nonprofit community hospital, it features more than 460 beds. The hospital admits over 25,000 patients annually. St. Barnabas Hospital maintains St. Barnabas Nursing Home, which has over 190 beds and provides short-term rehabilitation services. The hospital performs general, dental, hand, ophthalmologic, oral, pediatric, plastic and maxillofacial surgeries. It specializes in the areas of immunology, anesthesiology, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology and gastroenterology. St. Barnabas Hospital also maintains the Fordham-Tremont Community Mental Health Center, which supports aproximately15 programs in the areas of family violence and employee assistance for children and adults.
