SSi is a provider of design engineering services for the construction of communications towers, leasing and site acquisition services. Founded in 1969, the company constructs commercial facilities, industrial buildings, food processing plants, cold storage, warehouses, medical complexes and institutional structures. As the construction manager, SSi is responsible for safety, job inspection, payment to sub-contractors and suppliers, field scheduling, cost controls, value engineering, project records, progress reports to the owner and administration of construction contracts. The company s pre-construction services include evaluations for the construction site, performance scheduling and building code review. Post-construction services, including replacements and repairs not related to normal maintenance wear and tear, are generally provided for one year. SSi has two regional offices that serve the southeastern region of the United States.
