Plumbing & Heating was founded in Houlton, Maine in 1882 by Great Great Grandfather Addison Pineo Russell Smith and his brother Frank. It was one of the first businesses founded in Houlton. The original Smith Bros. store was a cornerstone of the community of Houlton selling model stoves, and primarily tin items, dishes, pots, pans, lanterns, and other general household goods. The business and plumbing and heating skills and techniques continued to be passed down from father to son for generations. Smith Bros. Plumbing & Heating moved to the Brunswick area in 2003. For many years, our goal has been to ensure the complete satisfaction of every customer, while offering knowledgeable and friendly service at competitive rates.
