The Records Division, managed by the Peoria County Sheriff s Office, features more than 10 employees. It maintains and updates criminal arrest records and police files. Located in Peoria, Ill., the division also processes arrest warrants. The Records Division s employees are certified by the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System. Its clerical receptionists accept bond money and process release paperwork for inmates. The Peoria County Sheriff s Office works in partnership with the community to recognize and resolve problems and to fulfill the law enforcement needs of the citizens. It serves a population of more than 183,000 people who live in an area of over 630 square miles. The Peoria County Sheriff s Office has nearly 200 employees.
