The Wayne County Community Service Organization, also known as WCCSO, has more than six senior centers that provide transportation, health screening and meal services, as well as exercise and craft classes. It also offers in-home services for people with disabilities. In addition, the organization provides personal hygiene assistance, nutritional, arrangement for medical and nursing care, supervising the administration of medication and environmental maintenance services. The Wayne County Community Service Organization offers the Adult Day Treatment Program for people with developmental and psychiatric disabilities. It provides training, socialization, basic educational and recreational services. The organization offers food pantries, toys, clothing banks, furniture and medical equipment. It organizes various events, including Baby Item Drives, Annual Community Winter Giveaway, Baby Safety Shower and Wayne County Kids Day.
