Salpointe Catholic High School, also known as SCHS, is a Christian, college-preparatory institution that operates a range of academic and enrichment programs. The school has been in operation since 1950 and focuses on the spiritual development of students. It conducts various extracurricular and fine arts activities. The school organizes music concerts, fairs and workshops. Salpointe Catholic High School enrolls more than 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12. It employs a staff of over 125 people and operates a student council. The school provides tuition and financial aids, as well as guidance counseling services. It offers classes in science, English, technology education, mathematics and social studies. Salpointe Catholic High School operates an advanced placement program and serves students in southern Arizona. It offers sports activities, such as golf, swimming, volleyball, indoor soccer and basketball.
