Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County serves more than 2,500 children of ages 5 to 18, in its more than 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility along with 17-acres of recreation space. The club offers five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. It also provides a gymnasium with full-sized basketball courts, game room with pool tables, bumper pool tables, foosball and air hockey, computer lab with Internet access, library and an arts and crafts room. Established in 1956, the club offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth ages 5 to 18. B&GC of Montgomery County, based in Crawfordsville, Ind., provides prevention programs for youth, including gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and pregnancy prevention.
