About Bottles of Grapes Although Bottles of Grapes incorporated on July 19, 1999, the official first day of business did not occur until September 10, 2001. The companys owner is Lee Nordstrom. Lee, often passionate about the wines she represents, has formed a team that makes up Bottles of Grapes, Inc The group is committed to Quality and "Old School" Service. A special emphasis is placed on Brand knowledge. It is this knowledge that is passed on to establish and build a conduit between the wineries and retail markets. Lee, having observed the problems inherent with the "Big Books" of larger distributors, has adopted a business plan that enables small, quality wineries to gain a foothold in larger markets across Washington State, as well as Northern Idaho. Her goal is to earn the reputation of Quality for value. Meaning, the customers that choose a wine from The Bottles of Grapes Book, can trust that the wine chosen is of high standard and has been priced fairly.
