Our high schools enrollment is approximately 1000 students, grades 9-12. Ripley Middle School and Ripley Elementary each enroll 800 students. Jackson General Hospital is committed to being a customer-focused organization, whose work environment is characterized by quality, integrity, ethics, and respect. We provide excellent health care, emergency facilities, and a highly trained staff of qualified doctors, nurses, specialists, and technicians to ensure outstanding medical care. West Virginia American Water Company was founded in 1886 as the American Water Works & Guarantee Company and reorganized in 1947 as American Water Works Company. On January 10, 2003 the company was acquired by RWE, was renamed American Water and became a part of RWEs water division. The majority of the companys activities are centered in locally managed utility subsidiaries that are regulated by the state in which each operates. The resources of American Water support these state utilities. American Water also owns subsidiaries that manage municipal water and wastewater systems under contract and others that supply homeowners, businesses and communities with water-resource-management products and services. The plant in Charleston, W.V., is one of several in the United States.

The Morgantown Utility Board is a municipally owned and operated utility that provides potable water, sanitary sewer and stormwater services. It serves the residents of the city of Morgantown, W.Va. The board offers water services to more than 21,000 households and sewer services to over 16,500 homeowners. It also provides bulk water sales services to nearly 7,000 customers. The board s stormwater system serves approximately 13,655 customers. The Morgantown Utility Board features various wastewater treatment plants and more than 340 miles of water distribution lines. The board also features over 270 miles of sewerage collection lines and nearly 225 miles of storm system lines. The Morgantown Utility Board is located in Morgantown, W.V.
