Additionally, Aberdeen Commons Assisted Living provides healthcare services such as routine and emergency health assessments by registered nurses, chronic disease management and preventive care. It specializes in memory care for patients suffering from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
Healthy Families is a newborn home-visiting program under the umbrella of Criterion Child Enrichment, a non-profit agency.
Healthy Families, with local offices located on Fortune Boulevard, bills itself as a prevention program for first-time parents under the age of 21. It offers support and information regarding child development for infants and young toddlers. The program works with staff members meeting with family members at their homes, as well as with schools, doctors and miscellaneous other agencies.
The Milford office of Healthy Families provides services to 19 different communities.
