Led by Dr. Marlene Siegel (who obtained her D.V.M. from the University of Florida), the team here offers a full range of medical and surgical services (with an emphasis on internal medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology) for all pets, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, amphibians and other exotic animals. PVMC boasts a state-of-the-art facility including an on-site lab, innovative diagnostic equipment, a surgical room and treatment area. In addition, the center has a sanitized grooming area, climate controlled boarding facility, obedience training and weight loss management program. Dr. Siegel is on call 24 hours a day to address and tend to any after-hours emergencies.
Animal Eye Care, run by Dr. M.A. Salisbury, is Sarasota's only board certified veterinary ophthalmologist. Specializing in diseases of the eye and located on Bond Place just west of I-75, Animal Eye Care offers its four-legged patients the love they deserve and the treatment they need. Available services and procedures include biomicroscopies, tonometry testing for glaucoma, ocular ultrasounds and more.
