Tempe Lake Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort of Tempe Arizona has always had an extreme interest in the care of the pets in Maricopa County. Our facility was originally a non-profit organization and was the home of the Maricopa County Humane Society in 1969. The facility transitioned to an animal hospital and pet resort over 40 years ago and has continued to serve the health needs of pets in Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale, Mesa and surrounding areas. We are open 7 days a week 7am to 7pm (*excluding major holidays). We provide veterinary services for dogs & cats, as well as boarding, doggie day camp, doggie daycare and grooming services. We offer emergency medicine, bone surgery, vaccines, health certificates for travel, neuter, spay, declaw, dental cleaning, humane euthanasia, bloodwork, alternative medicine options for cancer therapy, arthritis, pain meds and alternative pain therapy, ear infection therapy, and skin problems. We offer multiple products that can benefit your pet’s health. Some of the products we carry include Heartgard Plus, Frontline Gold, and NexGard. Now carrying ProHeart as a heartworm preventive! If we are unable to provide a specialized service that your pet may be in need of, we will gladly arrange for a consultation with one of the many excellent board-certified specialists in the Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Mesa area of Arizona. Our dog and cat pet resort is available when you need to travel. Our pet hotel is open 7 days a week (*excluding major holidays). We are one of the few pet resorts in Arizona that offer your dog an indoor temperature-controlled living room with direct access to a private outdoor patio on most of our hotel rooms. We have many large exercise areas for them to run in the grass, play in pools, and expend their energy the way a dog was designed to frolic and play, while you are vacationing. We also offer extras goodies for both our canine and feline guests. Our feline luxury condos face the lobby so your cat can keep an eye on all of the fun commotion. Some of the luxury condos also have a skybox that hangs over the lobby which is an excellent spot for a nice catnap. Your kitty can enjoy multiple tiers perfect for climbing and exploration. We offer services for doggie day care. Doggie day camp can help your furry friend become socialized with other dogs, especially puppies, so they are well mannered.
