Hershey Trust Company is an independent trust company wholly owned by the Milton Hershey School Trust and founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1905. Hershey Trust Company was formed with a purpose of providing investment management and administration for the Milton Hershey School Trust, which in turn, was established to provide for the health, education and welfare of orphaned boys. Hershey Trust Company serves as a trustee for several other wholly and partly owned entities, including Milton Hershey School, The Hershey Company, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, The Hershey Story, Hershey Gardens, Hershey Cemetery and Penn State Milton S.
