The company s stores operate meat, grocery, general merchandise and deli departments. Alaska Commercial Company has a staff of nearly 500 individuals. It operates stores under the AC Value Center name. In addition, the company has annual sales of approximately $80 million. Operational for more than 130 years, Alaska Commercial Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of The North West Company, which is one of the largest rural retailers in Canada.
