Dr. Robert Dilworth and Dr. Mark Phillips have been providing urological care to our community for many years. Dr. Phillips is the only Meridian physician certified for DaVinciA prostatetectomy surgery. Dr. Phillips performs minimally invasive prostatectomy surgery using the daVinci surgical robot, and he is the only physician in Meridian who is certified to do this procedure. This procedure offers substantially less pain and much shorter recovery. More importantly, daVinci can reduce the possible side effects of incontinence and impotence sometimes associated with standard prostate surgery. Dr. Phillips performs robotic kidney surgeries as well.
