The Wantagh Memorial Congregational Church, founded in the late 19th century, is a member of the United Church of Christ but is nondenominational and attended by members from a variety of Christian backgrounds. The church offers Sunday school classes and operates the Pixie Nursery School for students ages two and a half to four. The church's pastor is Ronald Garner.
