Located in the historic center of Natick, the First Congregational Church is considered one of the oldest in town. The Victorian Gothic style red brick building was built in 1651 and moved from South Natick to its current location in 1799. It was named to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1977. Rev. Founded in 1734, Tewksbury Congregational Church was the first meeting house of Tewksbury and, together with the town, celebrated its 275th anniversary in 2009. The current building, located across from the Town Common at 10 East Street, was constructed in 1922.  Known for its strong religious education, mission/outreach, and music programs, TCC is currently experiencing a surge in new membership, under the leadership of Pastor Jonathan Goodell and the Board of Ministries.  The music program includes five different choirs, including cherub and junior choirs for children and an adult bell choir.  Highlights of the mission/outreach program include mission trips to Mexico, support for local non-profits, and coordination of the town’s Zero Waste Day annual event.  Tewksbury Congregational Church welcomes youth, regardless of age or religious background, to join the tuition free, open and on-going enrollment in the education program.  Visit their newly designed web-site for more information.
