Grover Cleveland Park is a facility of the Essex County Park System located in a residential area of Caldwell and extends into Essex Fells. The park features a slow-flowing brook that leads to a small pond at its end.

Grover Cleveland Park is the seventh-largest park in the Essex County Park system. Construction of the park, named after Grover Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th president of the United States who was born in Caldwell, began in the summer of 1914. The park was completed in 1916.

Those who frequent the park vary, whether it be a couple taking a late afternoon stroll along one of the paths, or one of the local sports teams on one of their practice runs. The main path, that takes you down the center of the park, can lead one of two ways. You can follow it straight down, past the tennis courts or you can take it down to where the bridge connects either side of the brook. If you cross this bridge, the path takes you up to a hiking path through the woods.

In addition to the tennis courts, there are baseball fields, complete with team and spectator benches, a picnic area and a playground.

There are many large trees not only lining the paths of the park, but scattered throughout as well. There are plenty of benches where you can sit down and relax. Lamp posts line the walking path, making evening strolls even nicer and safer.

The Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy (GCPC) has worked with the Essex County Park System since 2001 to improve the conditions of the park.

Grover Cleveland Park prohibits: littering/glass bottles; car washing/car repairs; parking cars on lawns; alcohol; unleashed dogs and motor vehicles inside the park on the walking and bike paths.
