WYMT is the CBS local television affiliate that provides news, programming, entertainment and information to residents of the greater Hazard, Ky., area. The station went on the air in 1969 and NBC affiliate WKYH. It is owned by Gray Television, an Atlanta-based communications company that operates more than 35 television stations throughout the United States. Gray Television trades publicly on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol GTN.
