Home Run s roots date back to the 1920s when it started out by operating a small, less-than-truckload and truckload carrier up and down Route 35 from Dayton, Ohio to Portsmouth, Ohio. This heritage carried over to the 1960s when the company became a specialized carrier, hauling manufactured homes throughout most of the states east of the Mississippi River. Freight hauled by the company includes lumber, steel, containers, chassis, drywall, palletized material, roofing, vinyl siding, beams, coils, crypts, aircraft parts, air conditioners, bleachers, trees, machinery, building material and fencing. Home Run provides service to customers in the Mid-Atlantic, South and Midwest, and the company is located in Xenia, Ohio.
