Home Run s roots date back to the 1920s when it started out by operating a small, less-than-truckload and truckload carrier up and down Route 35 from Dayton, Ohio to Portsmouth, Ohio. This heritage carried over to the 1960s when the company became a specialized carrier, hauling manufactured homes throughout most of the states east of the Mississippi River.
