J.P. Noonan Transportation is one of the largest petroleum transportation companies in New England. The company was founded in 1959 by J. Peter Noonan as a heating oil and ice delivery business with a single truck. With more than 400 employees, it transports gasoline, salt, mulch, propane, fly ash, lumber, fuel oil and concrete pipes. J.P. Noonan Transportation also moves diesel, building materials, jet fuel, plastic pellets, residual fuels, lime, oil, cement and methanol.
