Bismarck Parks and Recreation District offers various facilities to the community of Bismarck, N.D. The district owns, manages and maintains 2,300-acres of public park land and offers parks that are open year-round. The parks include camping sites for tents and campers, picnic shelters, playgrounds, 24-hole golf course and a boat ramp. Bismarck s three outdoor skate parks offer skateboards, bicycles and rollerblades. Its figure skating club offers basic training programs at the sports center. The capital city gun club in the district provides a safe and convenient location for trap shoot. Bismarck also offers various adult and youth programs, including sports and activity centers.
