Adath Shalom, founded in 1988 with the merger of Congregation Adath Israel of Dover and Temple Beth Shalom of Boonton, is a pluralistic conservative synagogue serving more than 400 Jewish families. The synagogue offers Shabbat services on Friday and Saturday morning, daily minyan and celebration services for all Jewish holidays. The synagogue has a Hebrew school for children offering various classes, educational programs for adults and provides reading materials on Judaic literature. It provides youth group programs, sisterhood and brotherhood programs, family workshops and social action committees. Its religious curriculum is in accordance with the guidelines of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Adath Shalom has a more than 28,000-square-foot facility in Morris Plains, N.J.
