Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is a division of the state of Oklahoma that was established in 1947. The authority is authorized to construct, maintain, repair and operate turnpike projects at locations authorized by the legislature of the state and approved by the states Department of Transportation. The turnpike authority has established a toll-free number for residents to call and report highway littering incidents. It also offers PIKEPASS programs, an electronic toll collection system developed and implemented for the Oklahoma Turnpike System. PIKEPASS provides totally automated travel on Oklahoma turnpikes. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority receives revenues from tolls and a percentage of the concession sales. The authority operates more than five turnpikes in state that covers over 600 miles.

The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) is the primary entity in the state of Oklahoma charged with controlling costs of state-purchased health care. In 1995, the organization began its mission as the single state Medicaid agency.
