Equipment available here includes pitching machines, pitching mounds, fielding and pitching nets, warm-up stations, bats, balls and protective gear. The Varsity Shop Training Center also offers training camps, skills lessons, coaching clinics and off-site instructor-led instruction.
The office of the Michigan Chapter of Camp Make a Dream is located on Long Lake Road two blocks west of Woodward Avenue, in suite 120. This office manages fund-raising, camper recruitment and application processing.

Bloomfield Open Hunt is a private club. To its members it offers equestrian facilities, olympic size swimming pool, platform tennis and formal and informal dining. There are summer camps, swim and tennis teams and riding lessons available for younger members. Winter time may find members cross country skiing.
