Heartland Park Topeka is a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. The facility features a drag strip, a road course and a dirt track. The drag strip features a one-fourth mile layout and a one-half mile shutdown area, and its concrete launching pad extends 660 feet. The road course allows for five distinct layouts that can be tailored to fit various types of events. Its configurations range from a 1.5-mile to a 2.5-mile layout. The oval drag strip was specifically designed for high-performance sprint cars and has television-quality lighting with 4,500 permanent seats. The venue can have up to 7,500 seats for special events. Heartland Park Topeka annually hosts National Hot Rod Association s POWERade drag racing event and the Sports Car Club of America. It is home to the O Reilly Auto Parts Summer Nationals and the Lucas Oil Heartland Division V Championships.
