The Dojo American Karate Center is located in the Georgetown Shopping Center, just off of I-285. The Dojo has programs for children, teens and adults as well as corporate specials. The staff teaches karate, self defense and kick boxing. Free trial courses and birthday parties are also available.
The Smyrna location of the LA Fitness chain is very spacious and well-eqiupped. In a front room with glass windows there is a junior Olympic-sized pool and a jacuzzi. Also up front is a small juice/snack bar. Mirrors line the walls of the general fitness room. This cleanly kept location is not for those who want to avoid large rush-hour crowds.
